Advantages of Bag in Box packaging and storage tips

Oleícola Jaén Picual Bag in Box, 5 L Bag in Box

The protective design of Oleícola Jaén Picual Bag in Box uses an opaque inner bladder that shields the olive oil completely from light and ambient oxygen. The integrated anti-drip tap provides mess-free pouring into kitchen oil cruets. Simply place the box in a cool spot away from ovens to enjoy bakery-fresh olive juice for months.

The bag-in-box format keeps the oil protected from light and air, because the bag collapses as it empties and leaves little space for oxygen. It is a practical choice for restaurants, canteens and large households that use oil in quantity. Fit a tap to the bag or decant into a smaller bottle for the table, and keep the rest in its box in a cool, dry storeroom. The oil is ideal for sautéing vegetables and for making sauces such as aioli or pesto.

For raw use, drizzle it over salads, grilled vegetables, roasted peppers or bread rubbed with tomato. It also finishes a bowl of white bean soup or a plate of pasta with garlic and parsley. Once the tap is in use, close it fully after each serving to keep the contents as fresh as possible.

Artisanship and commitment at Oleícola Jaén

The craft behind this container comes from Oleícola Jaén, an olive mill dedicated to sustainable agriculture and high extraction standards. Close coordination between farmers and extraction specialists guarantees careful processing, rigorous lot traceability and respect for harvest timing. This technical rigor yields an olive oil of distinct personality that honors Andalusian agricultural culture.

Oleícola Jaén

The story of Oleícola Jaén begins in the early twentieth century, when Remigio Morillo bought his first olive trees in Baeza. In 1982 his son Carlos turned the farm into a mill, and today the third generation runs it.

Under its own name it bottles Baeza Picual in gift editions for special dates: birthdays, anniversaries, Father's Day or the grandparents. A real oil, with a label that already says what you want to say.
